About Hayden
Born and raised in China, Hayden moved to New Zealand in 2002 and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. His ability to communicate across languages has been a valuable asset throughout his career.
After graduating from the Waikato Institute of Technology in 2007 with a Bachelor of IT, Hayden joined Waikato Real Estate. Initially focused on IT, he soon discovered his passion for property management and made the switch in 2008—a decision he’s never regretted.
Now one of Waikato Real Estate’s most experienced property managers, Hayden has earned a loyal client base thanks to his unwavering commitment to providing top-tier service. Over the past 16 years, he has developed an in-depth understanding of the property management industry, and his clients frequently commend his expertise and attention to detail.
In 2021, Hayden’s exceptional skills were recognized when he was awarded Property Manager of the Year by the Leading Property Managers Association, a testament to his dedication and industry excellence.
In 2024, Hayden took on the role of Head of Training and Development, where he mentors new team members and supports the entire property management team at Waikato Real Estate.
