If you wish to end your tenancy, the amount of notice required will depend on whether your tenancy is a Fixed Term or a Periodic.

If you are on a Fixed Term Tenancy, and wish to vacate early, please contact your Property Manager directly to discuss the lease break process.

A periodic tenancy can be terminated by notice. You are required to provide Waikato Real Estate with 21 days written notice. Once the property manager has received or issued you with written notice, you will be advised of requirements for handing over vacant possession. Keys must be returned and a bond/final inspection carried out.
