What's in short supply and high demand? Properties in the $500-$600/wk bracket, 2-3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Demand is outstripping supply in that section of the Hamilton market and any vacancies are getting quickly filled. That mirrors what we see amongst the pool of properties that we manage.

What's in over supply? 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom properties around $300/wk rent. Again, this lines up with what we are seeing on the ground and is partly due to the lack of overseas students due to Covid and also several recently completed developments that have caused a short term over supply of studio and 1-bedroom apartments in central Hamilton.
