Waikato Real Estate Clinches PMC Property Management Agency of the Year Award for 2023
Waikato Real Estate proudly announces its success as the recipient of the Property Management Agency of the Year award at the PMC (Property Management Conference) 2023.
The Award for Property Management Agency of the Year (Large office) is awarded to agencies managing over 1,000 properties.
This esteemed award recognises the agency's exceptional contribution to property management over the past financial year, considering factors such as quality, service, and performance.
The judging panel, led by Professor Graham Squires, commented on Waikato Real Estate's achievement, stating;
“The PMC2023 award for Property Management Agency of the Year (Large office) to Waikato Real Estate was well deserved and demonstrated that the organisation has made an outstanding contribution to property management over its last financial year.
This award is based on a combination of quality, service, and performance. Waikato Real Estate have evidenced that they are excelling in all 3 of these areas. Congratulations!”
Michelle Pearson, Business Development Manager of Waikato Real Estate, expressed her thrill and honour at receiving the award, giving credit to her dedicated team.

In a creative video award submission Michelle highlighted the personal stories that underscored Waikato Real Estate's excellence in property management. Going beyond statistics and numbers, Michelle shared experiences of tenants like Eric, showcasing the agency's commitment to maximising rental returns through strategic renovations.
Tenants were also quick to express appreciation for the team's hard work. Jade, a longstanding tenant with Waikato Real Estate for over ten years, highlighted the strong relationship she has built with the team. She commended the support she received in finding homes that suited various stages of her life.
The award entry also shed light on the agency's efforts to educate and engage investors through live events, drawing over 300 participants and garnering thousands of online views.
Additionally, the company has a strong commitment to community and environment, through support for initiatives like Gumboot Friday and transitioning their company fleet to hybrid-powered vehicles as well reducing nine office printers to one printer.
Waikato Real Estate is already gearing up to return to next year’s awards, eager to once again impress the judges and raise the bar for excellence in property management.
